Newborns , nosy babies, warm weather, hip carries, sharing with another adult. Easy to narrow and widen. Weight tested to 45lbs, Simple design. 

Some people don't like this: 
They can be hard to fold, long shoulder straps are not always a good fit for back carries if you're petite. 
Buckles/webbing may put pressure on adults breast tissue in the early days. 
the panel is sometimes outgrown before baby reaches the maximum weight.
