All of these terms apply to all items, including slings, nappies and accessories and whatever else we lend to you
- We are lending you our precious goods. You agree to return it/them in the same condition you received it/them by placing it in our hands (by our we mean an actual representative of One of those baby carriers, not any venue we use when we aren't there) or posting it suitably tracked and insured to arrive on or before the last day of your hire period. You agree that you are responsible for the sling/items until we receive it back and check it over.
- Slings/items/nappies must be returned before midnight on the day they are due, we give 3 days grace and then if it's not returned we will check the sling out to you for another month and charge the card on file or invoice you if you do not have a card on file, you can return earlier than the new hire date if you wish and pay a daily loan fee of £1, whichever is the smaller amount.
-POSTAGE: the above prices apply plus the cost of postage, it's usually around £5 for a small parcel 1st class, around £10 for special delivery.
**Please remember to post your sling back in time to arrive on or before it's return due date, any late slings are dealt with as an overdue/late return**
The usual hire periods and prices are:
a single sling for up to 4 weeks (each 4 week period or part of) = £12
a nappy kit for up to 4 weeks (each 4 week period or part of) = £30
other durations and costs are by agreement and on a case by case basis.
If cost is a factor or some other difficulty arises we will always work with you to the best of our ability if you contact us as soon as you can.
-Lost or damaged items will be charged at their current RRP
We consider an item lost when you tell us it is or when we haven't had a rehire payment for 28 days after the due date
Or in cases where we use the card on file, when we haven't heard from you in 3 months and cannot seem to contact you.
- rrp is displayed on the slings inventory listing, where there's none displayed replacement value for a single sling will be set at no more than £80 (plus relevant hire fees) .
- You agree to not smoke around our stuff, not to carry hairy creatures like dogs and to let us know if you've been in contact with any contagious illnesses and common allergens (like cats, for example)
- You agree to use our slings in your daily life, they are not suitable for use during sport or exercise.
- We have shown you how to use our sling safely, we provide further prompts such as youtube videos, manufacturers instructions, pictoral instructions and links to safety mnemonics such as the TICKS guidance in the items description. It's your responsibility to follow the advice and instruction given and keep your child safe. We cant be held responsible for any use not in line with our instruction.
By registering and hiring our stuff we mutually accept these terms and conditions.
